I use a Sokkia SET5F total station to gather field survey points and ProLink software to communicate with my PC. This software allows me to transfer the survey points to a dxf file that I then import into an AutoCAD Lt 2001i drawing. This dxf file has the points with any annotations and elevation listed
Does anyone know of an easy way to generate contour lines from the data transferred to an AutoCAD file?
I have been taking it to a survey firm who has used some high end packages to generate the contour lines for me but I am looking for a simple and economical way to do this directly.
